Day 3

Today started off slowly, with Raymond forgetting to pick me up until I reminded him at 0830. It was a slow day in casualty too, very few patients had come through by the time I left at 1600. I did get to take blood for culture, and take a history from a patient with a chest infection. Other than that, there was a patient with very atypical fitting that we were looking after. I also saw a bone marrow biopsy being taken. It seems that everything can and does take place in A&E.
The interns have all been very friendly, and more than willing to let me get stuck into doing procedures, take histories, even write notes for filing.
